I designed and did illustration for a magazine called La Gauche from July 2009 until publication switched to online-only in 2018. This was the main publication of the Belgian section of the Fourth International (Trotskyists), published continually from 1956 to 2018. The website, which I also designed, is still active.
The interior of the magazine was always black and white, but while I was the designer we switched to color covers, which was fun.
On this page I’m showing samples of one of my favorite styles, which I call dimensional collage. I also love the illustration and design work I did for the magazine’s redesign following the organization’s rebranding, especially the feminist issue.
